The Kansas Coalition for Life has released a new video which calls for more volunteers to serve as peaceful sidewalk counselors near Tiller's late term abortion business in Wichita, KS.

The video is titled "The Kansas Paradox." People generally associate charming things with Kansas: beautiful farms and views, Dorothy and Toto, sunflowers, etc. But Kansas has an ugly side. Kansas was known during the Civil War as "Bleeding Kansas." It deserves the title again but this time for its largest city, Wichita, being the world's late-term abortion capital.

Prolifers from outside of Kansas may think that the Tiller abortion business is a "Kansas issue." But the reality is that people from all over the United States and many parts of the world come to Kansas to have late term abortions done at Tiller's abortion business. Far from a Kansas issue, it is everyone's concern. KCFL displays crosses in front of Tiller's abortion mill every day that it is open for business. Volunteers are needed to peacefully and legally watch these crosses. People come from all over the United States to do this. We ask for your prayers. New KCFL Video Shows the Tragedies of Abortion

I'd urge people to watch Kansas Coalition for Life's new video. It focuses on four abortion related deaths. In one case, a teenager was murdered because she refused to consent to an abortion. In another case, a teenager died after having an abortion at Tiller's child slaughterhouse. The video is very sad.

KCFL's video is based on their signature ad titled "A Distinction Without a Difference." They are gathering signatures for an ad in the National Catholic Register. Signatures can be sent electronically or by fax. The due date to appear in the National Catholic Register is April 27, 2007.

Has O'Reilly Been Told to be Quiet About Abortion?

Today is the anniversary of the horrific Roe v. Wade decision. Oddly enough, Bill O'Reilly's radio show and television show neglected to have any scheduled segments about abortion. No abortion related segments means this viewer will not watch the show.

In November and December, the O'Reilly Factor has talked about Tiller the baby killer. The alleged blatant corruption in the state of Kansas has conveniently managed to benefit Tiller, who has been charged with violating Kansas law. (It must be noted that Tiller is innocent until proven guilty.) O'Reilly claimed this was the worst thing he has seen in thirty years of journalism. He said he would keep on this issue.

Rather than letting the charges play out, Sedgwick County District Attorney Nola Foulston moved to have the charges dismissed on jurisdictional grounds. This is a woman who is alleged to have ties to Tiller the baby killer. Less than 24 hours after the charges were filed, Foulston moved to have them dismissed. Does she work this fast with ALL cases in her county?

As of January 8th, the new Attorney General, Paul Morrison, a pro-abortion "Catholic" (in name only) took over. One of his first acts was to fire the Special Prosecutor appointed by outgoing AG Phill Kline. Morrison is alleged to have benefitted handsomely from a pro-abortion PAC named ProKanDo. He made a campaign promise to stop the investigation into abortion businesses. Since taking office, he has done nothing with the charges filed by Phill Kline (other than to ABORT the employment of Special Prosecutor McKinney).

In November, O'Reilly made comments which inspired Operation Rescue to have a four day event in Wichita. Part of the event was an announcement that if DA Foulston and AG Morrison did not let the charges appear in court, they would seek a Federal investigation.

With all of the activities on the part of Kansas politicians and the events hosted by Operation Rescue, it is quite disappointing that there hasn't been a peep out of Bill O'Reilly. Has someone told O'Reilly that Tiller and the larger abortion issue is off limits? I really cannot imagine that he would willfully substitute the tired old Duke Rape Case for this. Obviously, the announcement by pro-abortion Hillary Clinton is something that must be discussed. But what would it take to give five minutes to the story about the events in Wichita, KS?

Tiller's Attorney Suggests Legal Action Against AG Phill Kline: I say go for it!

Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline filed criminal charges against notorious late-term abortionist George Tiller. According to Life News, Tiller's attorneys suggested exploring ways to hold Kline personally responsible. As a pro-lifer, I say go for it! While I believe Kline is an honorable and courageous man, and I do not want to add to his stress, I think it would be WONDERFUL if Tiller's attorneys did this. Don't dismiss me as being nuts. Read on.

Right now, the burden of proof in the criminal charges filed by Kline is on the State of Kansas and the AG's office in particular. The State of Kansas is the plaintiff in this case. The burden of proof is on the plaintiff. On the other hand, if Tiller's attorneys sue Kline, they become the plaintiff. The burden of proof is on their end. They must PROVE that Tiller did not commit the criminal acts for which Kline has filed charges. If they went through with this, they would *HAVE* to win. If they lost, then Kline would be justified in filing criminal charges. Kline would be justified in doing the job for which he was hired when he was elected in 2002. If he did not bring charges when there is reason to believe that a crime has been committed, he would be derelict in his duty. Of course, the man who defeated Kline, Paul Morrison, was the beneficiary of a fundraising event by pro-abortion PAC ProKanDo. Lo and behold, Morrison announced he would drop the investigation into the abortion businesses. Wow, what an odd coincidence!

According to Operation Rescue, the District Attorney of Sedgwick County (where the late term child sacrifice business is located) has moved in to drop the charges. Hey, if these are false charges and Tiller didn't commit the crimes they allege, why was this move by the DA necessary? Why not let it go to court so that justice could be seen and Tiller could show that people are just out to get him? Why didn't the DA let the case go through and allow the world to see that Kline was wrong (if he truly was)? The charges were announced on 12/21. The DA dropped the charges within less than forty-eight hours. Government NEVER works this fast for normal people. Hmm....

Anyone who has waited practically a lifetime while the slow bureaucracy of government works should be outraged at how fast this was done for Tiller.

Tiller's Attorney Actually Mentions Christmas

According to an article in Life News, one of Tiller's attorneys actually mentions Christmas. Yes, Christmas, a celebration of when our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was born. God Himself took His first Breath on this earth outside the womb of His and our Blessed Mother, Mary, the Immaculate Virgin, on the first Christmas.

Tiller does late-term abortions, executing innocent babies. (That is NOT sensationalism; it is outright fact. An abortion is an execution and the execution is performed for a fee of anywhere from a few hundred dollars to thousands of dollars. The baby has no legal representation and is simply sentenced to death, usually for the "crime" of being an inconvenience in one way or another. Many methods of abortion such as ripping limbs off, burning in a saline solution, suctioning the baby, all would be considered cruel and unusual punishment if done to an actual criminal.) It is alleged by Operation Rescue that one of Tiller's rent-a-cops declared he was "offended" by Nativity Scene placed on public property in front of Tiller's child slaughterhouse. The rent-a-cop allegedly took the Nativity Scene (which was not his to take) and placed it behind the fence within the parking lot for Tiller's child sacrifice building. Since the rent-a-cop was doing this while performing his functions for Tiller, it could amount to a representation of Tiller. So, if Tiller allowed his rent-a-cop to claim to be "offended" by the Nativity Scene and to go so far as to physically take it away, it seems rather hypocritical for Tiller's attorneys to mention Christmas when speaking about a case involving Tiller.

It would make sense for Tiller's rent-a-cop to allegedly claim to be "offended" by an innocent Nativity Scene. That Nativity Scene, and what it represents, could change customers' minds. The rent-a-cop receives money from a man who slaughters innocent babies. If enough customers change their minds, this could hurt the bottom line of the abortion mill and could potentially impact the fee the rent-a-cop company can charge the abortuary. Afterall, Christ's birth meant that there was an end to hell's claim over all souls. In a short thirty-three years, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, Jesus Christ, would suffer and die to offer us the opportunity (but not the guarantee) of eternal salvation. Christ would open the gates into Heaven for those who choose Heaven (by avoiding mortal sins and confessing and having true contrition for those mortal sins committed and truly repenting). An abortion is one of the most heinous mortal sins possible. When an abortion mill customer knows she is killing her child and chooses to do so anyway, she is in a state of mortal sin. For Catholics, this is such a horrendous crime that the Catechism states that anyone who procures a completed abortion is automatically excommunicated (#2272). Thus, the parents of the baby, and/or anyone else (e.g. parents of the mother who will be having the abortion, parents of the father who impregnated the mother of the abortion victim, etc.) involved is automatically excommunicated. Thus, an abortion could result in many others being in the state of mortal sin. This is contrary to these souls achieving salvation. After the innocent baby has been sacrificed in Tiller's mill, a Nativity Scene may remind abortion mill customers to seek repentance from God (for Catholics, that means going to the Sacrament of Confession). If they do this, hell's claim over their souls might be diminished.

Let us pray for the repentence and conversion of Tiller and all of his employees and contractors. Let us also pray for the conversion of anyone else associated with the abortion indu$try.

Congressional Republican "Leadership" Not Prolife

The Congressional Republican "leadership" closed out the 109th Congress last week. On December 12th, a bill which would have defined unborn children as persons was scheduled for debate. Had this bill passed, it would have crushed Roe v. Wade. It would have also wiped out states' ability to allow abortion. (Remember, if Roe v. Wade goes down in court, states can still legalize abortion.) Congress closed before debating this bill.

Of course, it's obvious Republicans need child sacrifice to continue because they can tell voters they are "prolife" and need their votes to do something about abortion. They lose prolife voters if abortion ever became illegal again.

Congresspeople get a six figure salary and get to vote on their own raises. Needless to say, they ALWAYS vote themselves a raise. They get far more vacations than the average peons get. They decided to stop working for the American people early in December. There are plenty of days left in December and plenty of work left to do. But the overpaid, underworked "leaders" chose to give themselves at least three weeks of vacation. Their lack of action ensures child slaughter continues in America.

I am a registered Republican for some strange reason. I'm not sure how much longer I will keep that registration. I once thought the party was "prolife." That's just something they say to collect votes from prolifers, in my opinion. I was upset at the Democratic win this November. But the complacent and useless Republican "leadership" deserved to lose its status. This is not the party of Abraham Lincoln or even the party of Ronald Reagan in my opinion.

The Republican Party needs to get rid of the liberalism and go back to a strictly conservative focus. They lost because the "values voters" --- who they took for granted --- stayed home this election day. Also, many of the Republicans who lost were liberals who were basically Democrats in my opinion. Lincoln Chafee is a good example.

Kansans Elect Pro-Abortion Attorney General Who Will Drop Investigations Into Child Killing Businesses

Hundreds of thousands of Kansans told the world tonight that they want Wichita to retain the title of ABORTION CAPITAL in my opinion. They elected a pro-abortion attorney general candidate who benefitted from a Tiller ProKanDo PAC fundraiser and low and behold announced he'd stop the investigations into Tiller. Wow, what a coincidence!!

Kline was investigating allegations that suspected cases of rapes were not reported. This is KANSAS LAW. In my opinion, some laws must be inconvenient to those in Kansas who voted pro-baby-killing. Well, afterall, if the rapists are not out on the street, it reduces the abortion mills' cash flow. In my opinion, the welfare of the abortion businesses seemed to be a high priority for pro-abortion Kansans tonight. Every rapist must have breathed a sigh of relief with the results of the election.

According to O'Reilly's radio broadcast today, he's continuing to work on the Tiller story. He said there's more to come right after the elections. Regardless of whether Tiller gets a favorable attorney general to go along with a favorable governor, O'Reilly will keep going.

If you have not voted already, PLEASE vote for life. Consider the candidates' stances on abortion, euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research, human cloning, and homosexual "marriage" (yes, this is a life issue because misuse of sex encourages disrespect for life). Remember that we will be judged on EVERYTHING we do. If we enable someone who is pro-baby-killing, we are responsible. It may be one thing if one person is totally pro-abortion and another believes in restrictions on abortion and there are NO totally pro-life candidates available. Tiller's attorney asked for Bill O'Reilly to be fired. A good part of O'Reilly's show was devoted to Tiller. A national audience gets to learn about the sickening events in Kansas. We learned of Tiller's political contributions to AG candidate Morrison. We learned how Morrison will drop the investigation into Tiller if he wins. Hmm... Tiller should remember Ward Churchill. O'Reilly talked about him for quite a while. Then Hannity and Colmes talked about him. After calling for O'Reilly to be fired, I really kind of doubt O'Reilly is going to let go. Campaign contributions to Kansas statewide candidates aren't going to silence O'Reilly. Tiller might remember Sami Al-Arian who O'Reilly exposed. Al-Arian was arrested.

If Tiller has a problem with O'Reilly, why not discuss it in front of the American people on the O'Reilly Factor? I'm sure Bill O'Reilly would give him air time. He can express his concerns about "privacy" to Bill. Afterall, Tiller is able to run a business that slaughters thousands of defenseless babies. Liberal pro-abortion types are screeching that the O'Reilly broadcast on November 3rd about Tiller slaughtering babies and allegedly failing to report rapists is some sort of "privacy violation." O'Reilly provided NO specifics. He made a generalization. These are no different than when government agencies collect medical statistics about a host of medical situations. Then they are provided to researchers who often use taxpayer funds to come up with various reports (some of which are useless wastes of taxpayer money). Liberals don't object to this kind of research using generalizations. Instead, they object when ANYTHING puts the child killing industry in a bad light.

Kansas law says that when rape is suspected, it MUST be reported. Period. The allegation is that this has not been done. I don't hear the baby killers or minions just simply accusing Kline of being wrong. Instead, there are statements about "privacy," special prosecutors from the Kansas Supreme Court, etc.

Liberals say they want "safe" and "legal" abortions. Abortions have resulted in the deaths of numerous women. They almost ALWAYS result in the death of an innocent human child. Thus, they are NOT "safe." They typically in death of an innocent human being. As to being "legal," (in a secular way) that means all secular laws must be followed. This includes KANSAS STATE LAW REQUIRING RAPES TO BE REPORTED.

If you are a registered Kansas voter, PLEASE vote for Kline. Please also vote for Barnett. Unseat the pro-abortion governor who takes campaign contributions from baby killers.

Kline's "Sin" According to the Religion of Liberalism

The religion of liberalism has declared that Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline committed what they view to be a "sin." He had the nerve to appear on the O'Reilly Factor and explain his investigation into allegations of abortion mills failing to report rape, which is required by law.

As part of this investigation, Kline subpoened medical records without names or contact information from abortionists. On the O'Reilly Factor, he made a generalized statement about these records. As this investigation may have the longterm affect of causing some rapists to be reported and put in prison where they belong, this might reduce the number of abortions that occur. If these rapists are out of circulation and would-be rapists stop raping due to fear of the consequences, abortion mills might make less money. Phill Kline has committed a grave "sin" according to the religion of liberalism.

Apparently, Kline has "violated privacy" in making a generalized statement. I think that those who want to complain about "privacy violations" when it comes to a generalized statement need to take a look at state health departments which collect abortion statistics. They need to complain about doctors who make generalized statements about patients without releasing names or specific details. Clearly, if one is truly worried about privacy, they must be consistent. Or are there special considerations when it comes to killing babies?

I need to have my gall bladder removed. My doctor told me about another patient who had the surgery and drove himself home the same day. He gave away medical information in that he basically told me that the patient was well enough, after having a part of his body removed, to drive himself home. He told me nothing that could identify the patient. Would those who are allegedly concerned about "privacy" be able to tell me how Kline's statement is any different? Or is it just that baby killing must be handled with kid gloves?

We often hear about how abortion is allegedly "safe" and "legal." There have been a number of women who have died from complications related to their abortion. The object of an abortion is to kill an innocent human being. Thus "safe" is not something I would use to describe abortion. If an abortion is "legal," that means the abortionist complies with the law in every aspect of the abortion. Thus, if the law requires cases of rape to be reported, the abortionist must do so. Otherwise, we do not have a "legal" (per secular law) abortion. One would think that those who believe in legalized child slaughter would at least want secular law to be followed (even though they are in open rebellion of God's Holy Laws).

Are those who oppose the investigation into whether abortion mills are reporting rapes concerned about rapists running loose in society? I certainly hope they are. But sadly, it is my opinion that they are not. It is my opinion that their chief concern is ease of being able to have an innocent child killed.

During the annual March for Life on the anniversary of legalized child sacrifice in America, George W. Bush sends in a car where he makes some useless cutesy little speech. When Bush was campaigning for reelection against Kerry, an avowed pro-abort who claimed to be "Catholic," Bush presented himself as being "pro-life."

Recently, Hillary Clinton and other extremist liberals announced plans to filibuster Bush's pick to head the FDA. The reason? Hillary and other extremist liberals wanted abortifacient Plan B to be over the counter and the soon-to-be head of the FDA was initially opposed. Plan B makes sexual promiscuity even easier than before. If a woman takes this high dose of synthetic hormones, it could prevent a conceived, living human being from implantation. Thus, it could cause an abortion.

Caving in to Hillary and other liberals, Bush's pick for the FDA suddenly changed his mind. Obviously, a six figure salary and a powerful government post is worth more than the lives of potentially millions of innocent babies. Bush supports this move. Bush campaigned as a "prolife" candidate. I voted for him on that basis. Bush vetoed embryonic stem cell research because it destroys innocent human life. Then he turns around and allows something that will destroy innocent human babies. Why would Bush bow to the likes of Hillary Clinton and other extremist liberals?

Operation Save America and the Koran

I agree with Operation Save America's views on abortion and homosexuality. They are sins. Period. In terms of Islam, while I have profound disagreements with Islamic theology, I must say I object to the notion of OSA burning a Koran as they did last Tuesday in Jackson, MS. Regardless of the reasons given by OSA, this simply serves to divide us. Muslims see it as an insult. Period. It only serves to divide those who are pro-life and it allows opportunities for the pro-aborts to allege that prolifers are "intolerant." There is no justification for their action.

From what I understand, Operation Save America objects to the way Islam portrays Jesus. They do not portray Him as God but rather as a prophet. Furthermore, they put the prophet Muhammad ahead of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I object to this as well. But this objection can be done in a respectful manner that addresses the point of contention while not offending the other side. Burning a Koran is certainly NOT going to win converts to Christianity. Aren't we called by Jesus to win souls for Him?

Judge Sentences Innocent Teenager to Cruel and Unusual Torture

The Constitution prohibits cruel and unusual punishment. Judges are supposed to rule according to the Constitution. Ironically, a judge in Virginia is sentencing an innocent teenager with cancer to cruel and unusual punishment. Abraham Cherrix is being forced by a judge to undergo chemotherapy. In a television interview, this young man described his last experience with chemotherapy as "worse than death." He has would like to take alternative treatments.

In order to justify their taxpayer funded salaries, Accomack County Department of Social(ist) Services stuck their nose in the Cherrix's private family affairs. Thanks to this judge (who has sentenced an innocent teenager to cruel and unusual punishment), the county social(ist) services department has joint custody of this teenager.

When it comes to abortion, we are often lectured by pro-aborts about the need to be "pro-choice." We are told "this is my body" by women who want to sacrifice the innocent children inside of them. Yet these pro-abortion activists are strangely silent in the case of Abraham Cherrix. In his case, since he is biologically incapable of carrying a child, there is no second body inside of him, thus he should have the CHOICE to avoid taking treatments that very possibly could result in his death. It's fascinating the way judge's minds work. It was a "private family affair" and "the law" supposedly granted Michael Schiavo the right to bring about Terri Schiavo's death via brutal and unnecessary torture (withholding food and hydration from her). Judges voted pro-euthanasia all the way up the line from the state courts through the Supreme Court (refusal to hear the case equals a pro-euthanasia vote). In a dramatic reversal, this judge (who I must note did not have anything to do with Terri Schiavo, but is a judge nonetheless) decided it was necessary for the Accomack County Department of Social(ist) Services to stick its taxpayer-funded nose in a private family affair about medical treatment.

Taxpayer-funded abortion mills in various states are allowed to see young girls and provide birth control or even child slaughter services to them without parental consent. Yet in this case, this poor young man's PRIVACY is being abridged by the government. The hypocrisy of this case is disgusting.

Pro-Aborts Interrupt Memorial Service by Shouting Profanities at Participants

Peaceful witnesses for life had a memorial service for a murdered preborn baby on Wednesday. According to the Clarion Ledger, pro-aborts decided to interrupt the ceremony by screaming profanity at the participants.

Pro-aborts are evidently not satisfied with the fact that the supreme court legislated the so-called "right" to child sacrifice from the bench. Instead, they must crash memorial services. But I thought abortion was all about "compassion." Well, it's not 'compassionate' to rip the limbs off an innocent child. It's not 'compassionate' to burn a child in a saline solution. It's not 'compassionate' to suction a little child out of the womb so the child falls apart. It's not 'compassionate' to jam scissors in the skull of a partially delivered child. Since pro-abort activisits are in favor of these kinds of hideous activities, how can anyone possibly expect them to know the definition of "compassion"?

What the pro-aborts campaign for is profane. Thus it is only natural to expect that what comes out of their mouth is profane. Their disgusting behavior at this memorial service only proves it.

City of Jackson Needs Tax Money From Abortion Mill

Mississippi is one of the nation's poorest states. The abortion mill that exists in the city of Jackson is a for-profit entity and pays taxes to the city of Jackson. If it closed, the city would have fewer tax revenues to waste on such things as police who can't stem the routine violence that occurs in Jackson.

If Operation Save America were able to get their message out without interference, there is the possibility that more people might find the Lord and recognize that promiscuous sex (the cause of at least 95% of abortions) is evil and unnecessary. Of course, doing that would have a negative impact on the child killing business in Jackson. If the child killing business was unable to stay afloat due to lack of customers, there is always the possibility that the city may not be able to collect taxes on that property.

As peaceful, law-abiding Christians are arrested and have their property stolen from them by the police, they have fewer chances of getting their message out. As violent anarchists destroy a car owned by a prolifer, it impedes and distracts OSA from getting their message out. The police allegedly allowed the anarchists to go free. But they have made a point to arrest peaceful, law-abiding Christians. I am not at all suggesting anything. But it is MY OPINION that this interference benefits the abortion business and the city.

Pro-Abortion City of Jackson Issues Permit for ONLY Six People for Operation Save America

When Operation Save America informed the city of their planned presence, I have no doubt in my mind that they made the city aware that at least 100 people would show up. Conveniently the city of Jackson issued a permit for SIX people at a time to be in front of the Jackson child killing center. They also said that peaceful witnesses for life could only be on a sidestreet where the abortion mill's entrance is located.

I witnessed for life in front of that abortion mill last year. There is a main road with a lot of room on the sidewalk. There is a residential street where the entrance to the mill is located and only a short patch of sidewalk. By forcing everyone on that small space, they will prevent the pro-life message from getting out. Thus, the city and their cowardly police department are interfering with the free speech rights of peaceful, law-abiding Christians.

Of course, what can we expect from a city whose cowardly police department allegedly REFUSED to arrest violent anarchists wielding a PVC pipe who destroyed a vehicle? The mayor of Jackson put the city under a state of emergency (unrelated to the pro-life presence and before it began) because of routine violence. Evidently, the tax-funded police are either unwilling or unable to stem the repeated violence in this city.

Judge Rules in Favor of Jackson Police Arresting Peaceful, Law-Abiding Christians

According to the Clarion Ledger, a judge ruled against the American Family Association's request to stop the police from violating the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. What can we expect from the courts? Afterall, it was the supreme court that ushered in the era of legalized child sacrifice by legislating abortion from the bench.

The Jackson "police" cannot stem routine violence in the city of Jackson yet they have time to violate free speech rights of peaceful, law-abiding Christians. Basically, the peaceful, law-abiding Christians won't resist so it's easy for the cops to arrest them. Let's see, isn't hitting someone a crime? The police have gone out of their way to interfere with Christians peacefully exercising their First Amendment rights. Those kinds of violations are nothing compared to an allegation of hitting a person. If someone truly was hit by a Christian from Operation Save America, you better believe the police would have swooped down on the driver and locked him or her away. With that in mind, combined with the pictures, forgive me if I just don't buy the story that a Christian struck someone with their car and that was what resulted in a smashed windshield.

Christians have a different story and pictures to go along with it. They allege that the police were present while pro-abort terrorists (see pictures above) took a PVC pipe to a vehicle. The police allegedly claimed that because this was on private property, they could do nothing. In my opinion, that is a COWARDLY and lame excuse for condoning a HATE CRIME against Christians. Furthermore, if the police truly sat by while this hate crime took place, they are guilty of committing an anti-Christian HATE CRIME by failure to do their duty and uphold the law. Violence of this sort is against the law, UNLIKE freedom of speech. It seems the police arrest people for exercising their rights and allegedly stand by while terrorists commit senseless violence.

Every one of us will one day face the Lord. Jesus has said "Whatsoever you do to the least of my people, that you do unto me." A Christian being harassed by a mob of angry terrorists wielding a dangerous PVC pipe is truly the least of God's people. Any police officer who sat by while this took place, despite having the sworn duty to stop incidents like these, has stood by while this took place against Jesus Himself.

The reports indicate that the police would not do anything about the violence because the alleged perpetrators refused to give their names.

If these accounts are true, Jackson residents ought to wonder why they pay taxes! Their money is obviously being wasted on individuals who are either unable or unwilling to protect peaceful, law-abiding citizens. How does government theft of pro-life signs prevent pro-aborts from committing heinous acts of violence against born people? Since the mayor declared a state of emergency because of routine violence in Jackson, this is just your typical day in this city.

Grand Jury for Tiller

According to Catholic Fire, a coalition of citizens disgusted by the abortion-related death of Cristin Gilbert has a petition with enough signatures to require a Grand Jury investigation of Tiller, a man who makes a living killing children. Sometimes, Tiller's own customers end up dying shortly after partaking of his services. In the case of Cristin Gilbert, she was mentally disabled. Her family forced her to have an abortion.

Scroll halfway down Operation Save America: Wichita's homepage and learn how one of Tiller's staffers said "No lights, no sirens" to the 911 operator when they called to have Cristin taken to the hospital. This is what we have in pro-choice America. What about concern for the HEALTH AND SAFETY of the woman? Isn't this what pro-aborts continue to tell us? "No lights, no sirens" does not exactly demonstrate any concern for the woman. If she needs to be taken to the hospital by ambulance from Tiller's abortion mill, it should be done with lights and sirens so vehicles will make way for the ambulance. Of course, in my opinion, lights and sirens coming from an ambulance leaving or entering Tiller's abortion mill would not be good for bu$ine$$.

The Commissioner of the Kansas Board of "Healing Arts" is appointed by the governor of Kansas. The largest campaign contributor to the governor was Tiller. The governor is up for reelection this year. In late 2005, due to requests from many people, the Kansas Board of "Healing Arts" claims to have investigated death of Cristin Gilbert. They found Tiller to have committed no wrongdoing. Of course, since the Commissioner of this board is appointed by a pro-abortion governor whose major campaign contributor was Tiller, well, I personally cannot take much stock in what they say. But that's just my opinion. Had they appointed an independent investigator who has no ties to Tiller or the pro-abortion movement, I might be willing to accept the results whatever they were. But they didn't and I don't.

Anyway, I congratulate those who organized and signed this petition. An independent investigation is necessary in the death of two innocent people --- Cristin Gilbert and the baby she was carrying. Independence. Not a claim of an investigation by an agency run by political appointee of someone whose campaign was handsomely funded by the very man they are investigating.

San Francisco: Separate the STATE from the church!

According to LifeSite NewsThe Board of Supervisors in San Francisco issued a hateful, bigotted resolution against the Catholic Church. They are upset that the Catholic Church has forbidden the Archdiocese of San Francisco to allow children to be adopted by homosexual couples. This is simply following God's Law. The Catholic Church is required to follow God's Law. There are those who might say "But the abuse scandal..." We are all accountable for our actions. We will all face judgment. Let us pray that we have sufficiently repented and performed enough penances prior to that event. Violations of God's Laws by one individual does not give license to another to violate His Laws.

For years, those who promote immoral sexual activity (adultery, fornication, homosexual acts, etc.) have said the government cannot come out against such actions because of the so-called "separation of church and state" (a phrase which is not even in the Constitution). This phrase is also sacrosanct among the purveyors of the Culture of Death (those who are pro-abortion, pro-euthanasia, pro-embryo-destroying stem cell research, pro-cloning, etc.).
Clearly, this phrase has been used as a tool (a sledgehammer, actually) to destroy traditional Judeo-Christian morals in society. When society ignores such morals, it provides a pathway to power and money for various individuals, businesses, and other organizations. By enslaving people to immoral sexual acts, the birth control/contraception/"protection" and abortion industries profit handsomely. The pornography and travel industries profit handsomely. Individuals are able to derive and retain political power by pushing this agenda.

Let us remember that the phrase "separation of church and state" is a TWO-WAY street. The government apparently is free to promote an "anything goes" agenda in terms of immoral sexual acts without allowing Christians (Catholic or non-Catholic) any ability to curb it via law. The government has literally kicked God out. By the same token, the goverment should stay out of the application of God's Holy Laws within the Catholic Church or any other Church. Taxpayer dollars should not be wasted on the City of San Francisco's attempts to have an Inquisition against the Catholic Church. This resolution reflects the personal views of those who voted for it. Remember, those who are pro-abortion or pro-homosexual-activities relegate disgust by Christians to mere "personal views." The personal views of the members of the city board of supervisors should never have been issued as an official act of the government, at taxpayer expense.

The resolution complains about what the supervisors refer to as "tradition." In my opinion, this sounds like an attempt by the San Francisco City Council to lecture the Catholic Church on morality as they (councilmembers) see it. Remember, thanks to separation of church and state, it is not the government's place to legislate morality on anyone. If San Francisco wants to even discuss morality, let them first put up a large monument to God's Ten Commandments (these are COMMANDMENTS, not options) in the center of City Hall.

The resolution complains about a "foreign country" claiming such country "meddles with and attempts to negatively influence this great city's existing and established customs and traditions..." Clearly, in this capacity, the Vatican is NOT acting as a 'foreign country'; it is acting in its rightful place as head of the Catholic Church. This is a very appropriate stand the Vatican is taking and I hope they plan to do it more often. As to the Vatican 'meddling,' the hierarchy is merely giving a directive to one of its archdioceses. The Vatican is not issuing orders to the city or to any institution other than its own. UNLIKE the Board of Supervisors of San Francisco, it is not attempting to go beyond its boundaries with its directive.

The resolution blasts Cardinal Levada as an "unqualified representative" of San Francisco. Cardinal Levada is a Cardinal in the CATHOLIC Church. Pope Benedict XVI did NOT bring him to Rome to convert the Catholic Church into a pro-homosexual-acts religion. Doing such would violate God's Laws.

San Francisco was named after St. Francis of Assissi, one of the greatest saints in the Catholic Church. He was an example of humility and purity for all of us to follow. In my opinion, this city is an absolute INSULT to the memory of St. Francis.

It is a mortal sin to commit homosexual acts. It is also a mortal sin to set a bad example for those in one's care and thus encourage them to mortally sin. For an unrepentant sinner, eternity may be spent in the fires of hell. We must pray that all who are currently separated from God will have sufficient opportunity to turn to God and perform penances accordingly. For Catholics, Confession is mandatory in the case of mortal sin.

Sandra Day O'Connor Complains About Alleged "Dictatorship"

According to Life News, EX-Supreme Court justice Sandra Day O'Connor has complained about the very lightweight attempts made by Congresspeople, Senators, and the President to save Terri Schiavo's life last year. Pro-abortion Sandra Day O'Connor feels attempts to save the life of an innocent person are equivalent to "strongarming" the judiciary.

Despite the fact that the Constitution calls for THREE EQUAL BRANCHES of government, in my opinion, Sandra Day O'Connor's statement is tantamount to saying there must be *NO* checks and balances on the judiciary beyond nomination by the President and consent by the Senate. In my opinion, any attempt by the weakened legislative or executive branches to exercise and preserve power provided to them by the Constitution is the "beginning of dictatorship" in her eyes.

Dictators such as Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Saddam Hussein, etc. have caused millions to be killed. Dictators are not usually interested in saving innocent lives. The Supreme Court has caused millions of innocents to be killed thanks to Roe v. Wade and various other cases (Planned Parenthood vs. Casey, for example, during O'Connor's co-reign). Hmm...

It is my opinion that there IS a dictatorship right now: a dictatorship by the Supreme Court. Laws seem to pop up when legislators feel the composition of the Supreme Court is favorable to a particular view. Take the recent law in South Dakota banning abortion. People think there is a chance of getting a 5-4 pro-life decision out of the Supreme Court. (I personally don't think it has a chance. One could HOPE that Scalia, Thomas, Roberts, and Alito will vote pro-life. Even Alito, subjected to much slander and abuse by pro-aborts, does not have a straight pro-life voting record. Beyond those four, the other five can be counted on to make pro-abort decisions. It will still be 5-4 in favor of infanticide.) That is the only reason why this law has been put in place. While I am glad these legislators care about the right to life, it's sad when laws respecting the right to life can only be put in place depending on who is occupying the bench at the Supreme Court.

Supreme Court decisions are subject to the whims of whomever is sitting on the bench at the time. In 1857, there were enough racist justices on the Supreme Court to form a blatantly evil opinion in Dred Scott vs. Sanford. The ruling denied personhood to African Americans. It was a pro-slavery ruling. Read about it on Wikipedia. In 1973, there were enough pro-abortion justices on the Supreme Court to deny personhood to innocent human babies.

If "the law" truly says we have a right to slaughter innocent human babies, why were there ANY dissenters to the evil Roe v. Wade decision? It is often said that the justices on the Supreme Court have some of the most brilliant legal minds. If so, why couldn't they concur? Why was it not a 9-0 opinion?

Be her own CHOICE, Sandra Day O'Connor is, thankfully, no longer in power. She will be subject to the laws legislated from the bench of the Supreme Court just like the rest of us. She will no longer have the ability to hand out execution sentences to innocent human babies by voting pro-abortion in Supreme Court decisions.

By the efforts of some, society has taken God out of almost every aspect of society. He has given us Ten Commandments (one of which states Thou shalt not kill). We have an Infallible and Perfect Judge Who has given us all the laws we need. While we choose to ignore them on earth, each of us will eventually face that Perfect and Infallible Judge to give an accounting of our earthly life. Then we will be sent to Purgatory (with eventual eternity in Heaven) or we will be sent to hell.

Jesus said "Whatsoever you do to the least of my people, that you do unto me." Innocent human babies and people like Terri Schiavo are the least of God's people. The brutal acts that have been done to them have been done to God Himself.

Let us pray that those who support child sacrifice and sacrifice of innocent born people like Terri Schiavo will turn around. Let us pray that they will convert, confess, and repent. And of course, let us remember that nobody is perfect. EVERYONE must continue to convert by avoiding every sin possible. Praying and Pickting Near the Mississippi Abortion Mill - Day 2

A few weeks ago, I went to Jackson, Mississippi to pray near the last abortion mill in that state. Below is a description of my second and final day there, December 13, 2005...

God provided another beautiful day for our peaceful prayers and picketing in Jackson, MS. The temperature was in the mid sixties.

I was only on the sidewalk for a short time (about two hours). The situation began to deteriorate rapidly during those two hours.

Prolifers were on the corner near the restaurant handing out literature. Employees from the restaurant asked them to leave the public street corner. The restaurant staff did not think their customers would appreciate the literature. The prolifers were primarily providing literature to cars going by. As to the passersby, I'm not precisely sure how they were expected to distinguish restaurant customers from everyone else. The restaurant staff acted like it would be a "compromise" if the prolifers just gave in to their whims. (All of this is based on what I was told by the prolifers. I was across the street and could not hear the dialogue.)

A local prolifer was dressed in a Santa Claus suit. Sometimes he held a flag, sometimes he held a baby doll, and other times he held a graphic abortion sign. He frequently called out "Santa loves children," or "Jackson loves children," or "Don't kill the children, Jackson." The media sent a cameraman to interview him. He pointed out that the media refuses to show the graphic truth of abortion. A few of us stood near the camera with graphic signs. I doubt they made it to the news report (if they did, they were likely blurred).

I held a graphic sign on the sidewalk facing State Street along with two prolifers from the local area. I had at least one of the "comforts" of home. In my local area, the "escorts" and abortion mill employees frequently take pictures of peaceful witnesses for life. Despite claiming to be "pro-choice" they take our pictures without giving us a CHOICE. In Jackson, the restaurant staff took our pictures. They did this from both the ground and the roof. As pictures were taken, I tried to make sure my sign was clearly visible.

Along with the graphic sign, I held a second sign which had the words "Wake up people of God." My graphic sign said "Choice" and then displayed the graphic picture. A member of the Rosary Crusade told me to cover God's Name. Ordinarily, I would not do something like this. However, it produced a nice effect: "Wake up people of Choice" followed by a graphic picture.

A man walked by and told us he supports what we are doing.

The restaurant staff were not happy that we were holding graphic signs because their customers could see the signs through the windows. This was taking place at lunch time. We need to expose the truth of abortion to those driving by. One of the local prolifers pointed out that the abortion mill was here long before the restaurant. If the restaurant owners do not want graphic photos being displayed, they should petition the city to close the abortuary.

The restaurant staff yelled sarcastic remarks across the road to us such as "Yay, you've saved exactly zero babies!" I pointed out that the day is far from over.

Apparently, we were accused of holding "pornography" because we had graphic abortion pictures. The true explanation of pornography was given to those making accusations. In my opinion, if hard and soft core pornography ceased to exist, the number of abortions would greatly decrease.

Had the restaurant owners simply ignored all of us, they might have gotten a lot of business. They were in a convenient location and all of us needed to eat. We went to other restaurants instead. We could have gone to this one....if the staff had not acted in this manner.

The police were called by the restaurant staff. An employee of the abortuary also spoke to the police about our presence. According to what other prolifers told me (I could not hear it for myself so I cannot vouch for any of this), the police stood around trying to figure out ways to get rid of the people from out of town. This is second hand, but apparently they were mumbling about possibly saying our activity was "disturbing the peace." Interesting. There were no bullhorns or people shouting. Just people praying and quietly holding signs exposing the truth of abortion. The police allegedly wanted the literature distribution to stop and one allegedly suggested a garbage can would be a good place for the remaining literature.

One police officer allegedly told a prolifer that we were trying to start a ruckus so the media would come. The prolifer said he had no interest in the media coming because they only distort the truth.

A prolifer tried to tell a police officer about what happens at Tiller's child sacrifice mill in Wichita, KS (such as the baptism of dead babies, pictures taken of dead babies, etc.). The police officer allegedly laughed and refused to believe it. The prolifer suggested he look it up on the web.

Prolifers who were on the public street corner on the restaurant side were allegedly being asked by police to follow the permit. The permit evidently did not include the ability to distribute literature on that side, despite being a public street corner.

There was one definite save today and one that was classified as a "maybe." We must pray that the "maybe" became a definite save.

The Rosary Crusade processed along the sidewalk and prayed. The police suddenly wanted people off the sidewalk on State St. Then they said something about being twenty feet from the curb. The sidewalk on the side street is short. (Since the sidestreet is mostly residential, the exposure for signs is reduced when people cannot face State Street.) There is grass along the side street before State St. The police said that the Rosary Crusade could only pray on the limited sidewalk on the side street. Richard (leader of the Rosary Crusade) asked the police to talk to them and explain what they were allegedly doing wrong.

At this point, the group of people I was with left. I don't know if the police ever got around to explaining exactly what the Rosary Crusade was allegedly doing wrong by praying or why it was okay on Monday (12/12) but not Tuesday, etc.

As an addendum, Operation Rescue West filed a report at http://www.operationrescue.org/?p=311 which gives a first-hand account of the police's attempt at intimidating them. Thankfully, ORW staff knew the police were bluffing. ORW also came across a street preacher who was being denied his right to freedom of speech and the free practice of religion (both provided in the First Amendment). The city of Jackson allegedly refused to grant the street preacher a permit to preach the Word of God because it might be "noisy" and may "bother" people. Keith Mason of ORW referred the preacher to legal counsel and a lawsuit against Jackson is being considered.

Pro-aborts often claim that there is a "Constitutional right to abortion." There is NOTHING in the Constitution providing a right to sacrifice innocent children. The First Amendment, on the other hand, actually exists. Shame on the city of Jackson for allowing innocent children to be slaughtered while persecuting those exercising their Constitutional rights to freedom of speech and free practice of religion.

Of course, it should be noted that I am not a lawyer. One must make themselves aware of the law at all the many levels of government bureaucracy (federal, state, local, etc.) for prolife activities (as well as anything else) and one must follow these laws. Remember that secular laws often change and ignorance is not an excuse for disobeying the law. It may even be advisable to consult an attorney able to practice in the specific geographic area and who is knowledgable about prolife issues. Above all, prolife activities must always, ALWAYS be peaceful and must follow the Ten Commandments provided by God.

Praying Near the Mississippi Abortion Mill on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe

A few weeks ago, I attended an event coordinated by the Our Lady of Guadalupe Rosary Crusade in Jackson, Mississippi. Following is my account of the event...

The Rosary Crusaders pray the Rosary, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, the St. Bridget Prayers, and exorcism prayers near places of child sacrifice. This particular event began on December 12th. December 12th is the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe** in the Catholic Church.

God provided a beautiful day for our peaceful picket in Jackson, Mississippi. The temperature was in the high fifties to mid sixties.

I would estimate about thirty to thirty-five people showed up, including the local pro-lifers. Operation Rescue West sent a Truth Truck (a small box truck with panels showing the graphic truth about abortion) to the area.

Fr. Peter West from Priests for Life also attended this event. He was in the area from Sunday night through Tuesday morning. On Monday morning, he gave the homily at St. Richard's Church.

The center for child slaughter in Jackson is the only abortuary in the entire state of Mississippi. If it closes through prayer and peaceful/legal protesting, the whole state of Mississippi will be free of abortion mills. The Jackson abortuary is not a part of Planned Parenthood, but rather a part of a small chain of fifteen child killing businesses. There are no "escorts." The child sacrifice business has a small sidewalk on one side near the entrance to the parking lot and a sidewalk on a main road. There is a metal fence separating the sidewalk from the mill, but pro-life people can speak to the cu$tomer$ as they enter. One of the local pro-lifers mimics a child's voice. She calls out phrases such as "Mommy, I love you. I want to see your face. Daddy, please don't kill me."

The day started with a civil rights rally. Richard, the leader of the group, connected Martin Luther King's struggle for civil rights with the struggle for rights of preborn babies. Three African Americans from the area spoke. The first was a woman who had an abortion. She spoke on the need for more African Americans to come out here and hold signs witnessing for life. She explained that she went to Confession because of her abortion. The priest gave her a Penance of volunteering for a hospital for six weeks. She volunteered at the gift shop and was accused of something she did not do and told she was no longer needed. She then decided to witness for life near the abortion mill and is continuing to do this. Another speaker gave an excellent talk that seemed so well rehearsed and polished....and this was his very first time ever witnessing for life in front of an abortion mill. When a representative from the media came a short time later, he was told to speak with this man.

The city of Jackson has approximately 250,000 people, with the majority being African American. The pro-life movement in Jackson is primarily composed of whites. From what I observed, the cu$tomer$ of this abortion chamber were 98% African American. The abortion mill is getting African Americans in Mississippi to voluntarily deplete their numbers. While they may not intend to be racist, numbers speak for themselves. The work of the Jackson, MS abortion mill would please any white supremecist group. While Margaret Sanger was against abortion (her issue was artificial contraception), at least the numbers would please her. In a letter to Clarence Gambel, Margaret Sanger made it clear that she wanted to "eliminate the Negro race."

Across the road from the abortion mill, there is a public parking area. This area is in front of a building renting spaces for businesses, including a restaurant. But the parking lot is not owned by that business. Operation Rescue West staff parked their Truth Truck in one of the spaces. Tenants and the building owner became furious. They demanded the truck be moved. They said they would call the police and have it towed away. Operation Rescue West staff indicated that this was a public lot and did not move the truck. The police were called. According to Operation Rescue West's site, the police claimed a "permit" was needed to park their truck in that location (again, a public parking area). Operation Rescue West called the police officer's bluff. In the end, the truck remained until Operation Rescue West decided to move it. The tenants continued to hang around outside and occasionally screamed at the pro-lifers. From across the street, they mocked Christianity and blasphemed our Lord. The tenants were unhappy with the pro-lifers who passed out literature being passed on a public street corner.

Reactions from State Street were primarily positive. Of course, most people ignored us. I recall all reactions from African Americans were positive. The majority of reactions from whites were negative. One woman complained to us. She told one of the pro-lifers to get a job and said the same to me. Before I could tell her there is such a thing as vacation time, she rolled up her window.

The police shifted to the other side of State Street. Richard (leader of the Rosary Crusade) was told that he did not get a permit to pray. It was apparently okay to process up and down the sidewalk, but his group could not pray in front of the abortion mill. Apparently, a permit must be obtained thirty days in advance. I believe one of the local pro-lifers informed me that laws in Jackson seem to change quite frequently. One of the local pro-lifers went to the police station and obtained a permit for the group to pray during the day time. Prior to this, he had suggested that they just hold signs. Richard indicated that they were here to pray.

On Mondays, the child slaughter center opens at noon for "counseling." Mississippi has a 24-hour waiting period. Apparently, children are not slaughtered here on Mondays. Pro-lifers attempted to provide literature and speak with cu$tomer$ of the mill. At least one cu$tomer replied with vulgar language. Most ignored us. One kept yelling so she did not have to hear what we had to say.

Operation Rescue West staff started driving their truck around town. Had the restaurant owners and other tenants not been so abrasive, ORW likely would have begun driving the truck much sooner. Of course, as soon as that parking space was vacated, another vehicle filled the space.

Two babies were saved today, thanks be to God. One young woman whose sister had an abortion came to speak with the local pro-lifers. She said she wanted to help other mothers avoid doing what her sister did.

I went to dinner at a restaurant fairly close to the abortion mill called Que Sera Sera (a different restaurant from the one directly across from the mill). After paying my bill, the waiter said to come back again soon. I explained that while the food and service were great, I was from another state so I probably wouldn't be back. I said I was there for the abortion protest. He said it was a great cause.

(**This is a title for the Blessed Virgin Mary. When she originally appeared as Our Lady of Guadalupe during the 1500s in what is now Mexico City, the Aztecs were slaughtering thousands of people to their pagan gods. The slaughtered victims included children. The Blessed Mother's appearance caused thousands of Aztecs to convert to the Catholic faith and worship the Holy Trinity, the one True God Who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This conversion ended the sacrifices. In today's times, we can see how the Blessed Mother appeared because God left an image of her on St. Juan Diego's tilma (a cloak made of cactus fibers). While a tilma normally falls apart after twenty years, this particular tilma is still intact today, over 450 years after the appearance. It can be viewed by the public in Mexico City. Despite all of our scientific advances, science cannot duplicate many aspects of the image. Of course, this is because the image was not made by man; it was made by God Himself. Because her appearance in the 1500s brought about the end of human sacrifice by the Aztecs, Catholics look to this particular apparation of the Blessed Mother in the abortion struggle. Abortion is child sacrifice to the idols of "convenience" and "choice." Humans have copied the aspects that can be duplicated and made a small number of replicas known as Missionary Images. The Missionary Images were blessed by Pope John Paul II. When they have been taken past abortion mills, some abortion mills have closed within a short period of time. In Wichita, a secular newspaper noted that rose petals came out of one of the Missionary Images when it was brought near an abortion mill.)

Does the Kansas State Government Care About the Health of Women Having Abortions in Their State?

Christin Gilbert, an innocent young woman who had Down Syndrome, was raped. Her family chose to slaughter the innocent child Christin was carrying. The facility of George Tiller, the late-term abortionist in Wichita, Kansas, was designated as the place for the child sacrifice to happen. (Tiller requires a referral from another doctor, so his facility was likely chosen by the doctor.) However, in this case, TWO people died instead of the expected one. The family KNEW they were going to have Christin's child murdered. But they never expected to lose Christin as well. But this is exactly what happened --- an abortion was performed on Christin (NOT by CHRISTIN'S choice) at Tiller's child sacrifice business, resulting in the abortion of CHRISTIN'S life as well.

Abortion is evil enough on its own. The Supreme Court (a court which also upheld slavery in 1859) allowed this atrocity in 1973, so those practicing infanticide cannot be arrested and charged with murder. When women having abortions die as a result of complications, this becomes even more tragic. Pro-aborts argue that legalizing child slaughter was done for "women's health." Well, when a woman has to be rushed from an abortuary to a hospital and then dies, I'm not exactly sure how that can be called "healthy."

Read the alert by Operation Rescue West about this. In particular, note at the following (quoted from the Operation Rescue West alert, emphasis mine):

Finally, an emergency call was placed by Tiller employee Marguerite Reed who was, according to the dispatcher, “evasive” about Christin’s condition. As Christin lay dying, Marguerite pled with the dispatcher, “Please! Please! Please! No lights, no sirens!” She then placed him on hold for forty-five critical seconds while she checked to see how much she should tell the dispatcher, who never knew the seriousness of Christin’s condition.

The Kansas Board of Healing Arts has the ability to revoke Tiller's license. People come from all over the world to have abortions in Tiller's child slaughter facility. Assuming the quote from Operation Rescue West is true (a Tiller abortion mill employee saying "No lights! No sirens!" in regards to an ambulance when a woman was in critical condition --- and later ultimately died), is this a "safe and legal abortion"? According to Operation Rescue West, Christin is NOT the only woman who has been rushed to a hospital after being inside Tiller's abortion mill. If the Kansas Board of Healing Arts, an arm of the Kansas state government, chooses NOT to shut down this abortion mill, let us all consider the priority the state of Kansas places on the health of women. Tiller contributed a large sum of campaign money (that he makes by killing innocent children) to the governor of Kansas for the last election. Obviously, if his abortion mill is shut down, that money will not be available for the next election. It would be a shame to think that campaign funds are a higher priority than women's health in the state of Kansas...

With that said, I agree with Operation Rescue West's request to call the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts and voice your utter disgust at the events surrounding the death of innocent Christin Gilbert, a young woman whose family FORCED an abortion on her. The Kansas State Board of Healing Arts needs to hear from all of us. This is a young woman who died after having an abortion in Tiller's center for child sacrifice...

Don't think "I'm not from Kansas so they won't listen to me..." Remember that Tiller's child slaughter facility is nationally known. People from all over the United States have had children slaughtered in Tiller's facility. The Kansas State Board of Healing Arts needs to hear from everyone who is horrified by the death of innocent Christin Gilbert. Your call should be respectful. Remember that these are fellow human beings. As they say, you attract more flies with honey than with vinegar. We must remember the Ten Commandments in EVERYTHING we do in life, most especially pro-life activities. If we do not follow God's Laws, we are no better than our opponents.

Wecht Denied Ability to Observe Schiavo Autopsy; Interesting Points About the Schiavo Autopsy Report

Why was Dr. Cyril Wecht denied the ability to observe the autopsy? I do not understand the reason.

The Empire Journal has some interesting points about the Schiavo autopsy. If true, these are far greater details than mainstream society has provided.

Let's remember that Terri Schiavo experienced a court ordered dehydration and starvation by Greer, a man who allegedly initially signed an order listing the wrong name and date in regards to Terri's death. A man who, according to the Empire Journal, has been reversed 76% of the time when his cases go to higher courts. A man who was recently honored for his apparent "professionalism."

Judge Who Ordered Terri's Dehydration Allegedly Wrote the WRONG Name AND Date on Court Order!

The vast majority of Americans put their faith in judges. We constantly hear about "separation of powers" and an "independent judiciary" as alleged justifications for a judge such as Greer to rule that an innocent woman should be dehydrated and starved. For a judge such as Greer to make rulings that cause CHILDREN to be arrested. For a judge to such as Greer to defy the Congress of the United States. The vast majority of Americans see nothing wrong with the above. I'm afraid that even if the allegations described below are true, Americans STILL would have no problem with the above.

The Empire Journal has an interesting article alleging (and they have what they say is a copy of the record) that Greer, the man who issued court orders forcing Terri Schiavo's slow, nearly thirteen days of dehydration, listed the WRONG name and WRONG date on the court order handing Terri's estate to Michael Schiavo!

Let us carefully consider this. IF THIS ALLEGATION IS TRUE, we should consider it in light of some other things. Greer ruled that it was allegedly Terri's wishes to be dehydrated and starved based on HEARSAY by her husband and HIS SIDE of the family. Her husband only talked about these alleged wishes AFTER winning a malpractice lawsuit. Her husband had quite an interesting comment on CNN (and yes, I understand this was not presented in court):

M. SCHIAVO: Yes, I do. But this is not about them, it's about Terri. And I've also said that in court. We didn't know what Terri wanted, but this is what we want...

This is a judge who ordered that cameras and tape recorders not be allowed in the room, who put TAXPAYER-SUPPORTED police in the room to carry out that order. These police COULD have been out on the streets, keeping TAXPAYERS safe. Instead, they were enforcing Greer's order to dehydrate Terri Schiavo. And here is Father Frank Pavone's eyewitness account of Terri's last days.

This is a judge who received an award for what the local bar association refers to as "professionalism." IF THIS ALLEGATION IS TRUE, this begs the question about whether alleged professionalism includes not getting the name or date right on a court paper. IF THIS IS TRUE, let's make it clear: these were not merely spelling errors; these were alleged incorrect statements. Whether or not someone wrote the paper for the judge, it is HIS court. A professional thoroughly checks the work of their subordinates. And takes responsibility for their mistakes.

This is a judge who allegedly took a campaign contribution from Felos, the attorney who argued to have Terri dehydrated and starved.

This is a judge who denied a petition for injunction (read the middle of the article), resulting in a woman dying. If the allegation in The Empire Journal is true, I wonder if Greer paid as much attention to this now murdered woman's justification for an injunction as he did with the papers that allegedly contain INCORRECT statements about Terri's death.
(A death which was TOTALLY avoidable.)

This is a judge who ruled that Terri was in a "persistent vegetative state" despite the fact that professional nurses testified under oath that she was not. This is a judge who basically denied the validity of their statements yet failed to find them in contempt of court. If Terri was truly unaware of her surroundings, these nurses logically were committing perjury. Greer, being an alleged "stickler for the law," should have charged them with perjury. Perjury is a grave offense (and also a mortal sin). Yet for some reason, Greer has NOT charged them with perjury.

Now, on to Michael Schiavo. Some who were in favor of dehydration of Terri Schiavo stated that Michael was grieving and loved his wife, blah blah blah. (Of course, he had another woman that he was living with while married to Terri, along with children by that woman. Perhaps she offered him some comfort during the MANY years that Terri was warehoused in a hospice.) IF TRUE, the document obtained by The Empire Journal indicates that Michael Schiavo asked the court for Terri Schiavo's estate within hours of her UNNECESSARY AND COURT-ORDERED death. Michael must have a profound talent for multitasking: he can be grieving the loss of his wife (a loss which HE initiated) yet also be able to tell his attorneys to secure the estate within hours of her death.

Usually, a grieving person would put legal and financial concerns aside. They would instead spend the day remembering the life that just ended, remember the good times, etc. Since Terri's court-ordered dehydration and starvation concluded on a Thursday, there was even one more business day prior to the weekend. Michael COULD have filed a petition on Friday. He could have even waited until the next Monday to be concerned with petty financial details. Afterall, numerous courts clearly found in favor of dehydrating Terri Schiavo, which was Michael's request, so Michael was on a firm footing in case the Schindlers filed any motions.

Despite the date mentioned on the paper linked from The Empire Journal, Terri died on March 31st. On March 30th, since there was still life for Terri on this earth, there was still hope. Of course, there is still a glorious hope for Terri. She is likely now with our Eternal Father in Heaven and with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and His and our Most Blessed and Immaculate Mother, the Ever-Virgin Mary, Queen of the Universe.

We must never forget Terri. The Culture of Death lost with Terri. It exposed its evilfor the world to see. We already knew the evil of abortion. Now the Culture of Death has made us aware of what it does to people who have managed to survive the risk of abortion (ANYONE could have been aborted at any time, even if illegal, before the atrocity that took place on January 22, 1973, allowing legalized child slaughter).

Judge Ordering Dehydration of Terri Gets an Award!

Father Frank Pavone was graciously allowed the ability to visit Terri. Here is Father Pavone's account of Terri Schiavo's last hours on earth. Let us remember that she was in this alleged position as a result of Greer's court order of starvation and dehydration, based on HEARSAY. I say "alleged" only because I could not see this for myself. Afterall, Felos, the attorney for MICHAEL Schiavo, who frequently discussed Terri's medical details with the press, claimed he did not want cameras in Terri's room for "privacy" reasons. As such, Terri's family claims to have been searched whenever they entered the room to watch their daughter be starved and dehydrated by Greer's court order. A police officer (furnished at the expense of taxpayers who do not have any CHOICE in how their money is spent) was stationed in the room at all times to enforce Greer's order.

Greer, the judge who ordered the starvation and dehydration of Terri Schiavo, is being awarded. Credit goes to Spirit Daily for the link. (In my opinion Greer deserves a different kind of award: IMPEACHMENT.) The article states that the award is not ONLY as a result of the Terri Schiavo case. So let's see, what else could there be? What other factors came into play? I wonder if taking a campaign contribution from Felos, the lawyer who argued to have Terri dehydrated and starved with the intent of ending her life was considered? (Oh, excuse me, that's RELATED to the Terri Schiavo case. They said Greer gets the award for OTHER things.) Is it perhaps as a result of a case where he denied a petition for injunction (mentioned near the middle of the linked article) which later resulted in the death of an innocent woman? This was in 1998 --- BEFORE 2005. This was ANOTHER case where an innocent woman died. Is it possibly due to the allegations in this article?

Back to Terri Schiavo. What specific things influenced the award from that case? Was it influenced by ordering the dehydration and starvation based on HEARSAY by a husband (who had children by another woman while married to Terri) and HIS side of the family? Here is a transcript of what Michael Schiavo said on CNN. An entry in Blogs for Terri points out the specific quote of interest.

Was it influenced by the fact that as a result of Greer's court order, CHILDREN were arrested? We would expect such behavior in NAZI Germany between 1933 and 1945, not the United States of America in 2005.

Was it influenced by Greer allowing Michael Schiavo the ability to deny priests the right to provide Terri Schiavo DAILY Holy Communion, as is her religious right as a Catholic? (Note: Eventually, she was allowed Holy Communion on Easter Sunday. Her tongue was dried out and she was this UNABLE, BECAUSE OF GREER'S COURT ORDER, to receive a fleck of the Precious Body of Christ. She could ONLY receive our Lord's Precious Blood. Catholics ordinarily receive the Precious Body FIRST and MIGHT receive His Most Precious Blood. Had the court not ORDERED dehydration of Terri Schiavo, she TOO could have received Christ's Most Precious Body. But this goes beyond Easter. Catholics in a state of grace (and Terri WAS in a state of grace, having received Last Rites - not that such determination is ANY of the secular government's business) are entitled to DAILY Holy Communion. As a Catholic, Terri was entitled to that religious right. Michael Schiavo, supported by Greer's order, denied daily Holy Communion.) Judges so often talk about "following the law." The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution states that Congress cannot prohibit the free practice of religion. The U.S. Constitution is the highest secular law in this country.

While I do not relish the notion of Greer getting an award, I think it's interesting that his name is in the media again. For those who may have forgotten innocent Terri Schiavo, who was denied nutrition and water as a result of Greer's court order, this award to Greer should be a good reminder.

Supporters of Legalized Abortion Honored and/or Allowed to Speak at "Catholic" Colleges

It is my opinion that ANY college allowing someone who favors legalized abortion to speak does NOT deserve the label "Catholic." I certainly hope that our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, bans their use of that name.

Some "Catholic" colleges claim this is 'academic freedom' or 'freedom of ideas' or some other excuse. By providing facilities for these individuals to speak and/or giving some sort of 'honor' to them, these "Catholic" colleges are complicit in the MORTAL sin of abortion in my opinion. College students are typically young and impressionable. For the "authorities" of a college to allow facilities for advocates of legalized abortion to speak, they are giving an improper message to young people. Young people may even mistakenly think the church allows abortion. Afterall, if a "Catholic" college allows one of these speakers (or honors them!) a forum, college students who may not be particularly well versed in the faith may make an incorrect conclusion.

During a wonderful homily the day after the announcement of our new Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, a priest quoted something he heard on television in reference to 'cafeteria Catholics': "The cafeteria is now closed." This is an excellent point. It puts to rest the wishes by some that the new Pope might ignore God's Laws. The Pope must deliver God's Message. As a human being, the Pope does NOT have the ability to change God's Message.

Many seem to be confusing a Papal election with a Presidential election. During the recent Presidential election, questions about abortion and embryonic stem cell research were asked of the candidates. It was important to know the candidates' positions. Nobody should support abortion and embryonic stem cell research (least of all Catholic candidates who claim they believe life begins at conception) at all. At the same time, we should hope that those candidates and parties who claim to be AGAINST abortion are not simply giving lip service. (After the Terri Schiavo situation, it's important to thoroughly scrutinize candidates and parties to see if they will truly live up to their statements. They can claim whatever they want. But when they bow down before a local judge who defies a Congressional subpoena, one must question whether they truly posess the courage to help pro-life causes.) It is of course a mortal sin to vote for an outright pro-abortion candidate (same goes for one who outright supports embryonic stem cell research, human cloning, homosexual "marriage," euthanasia/assisted suicide, etc.). However, our vote should also not be wasted on those who merely "talk the talk" of pro-life. We should be sure they also "walk the walk."

In the case of a Papal election, none of the above matters. First, the laity is not voting. Second, there is NO need to question the candidates' positions on issues such as abortion, embryonic stem cell research, artificial contraception, homosexual ACTIONS, etc. These are in violation of God's Laws. A Pope does NOT have the ability to change God's Laws. A Pope may NOT endorse such things. The Catholic Church is unlike any other organization. On matters of faith and morals, there is no change. It does not matter what society thinks, what the so-called "experts" are claiming, what the latest poll says, what the main stream media says, etc. The Catholic Church must continue to teach the same Truths taught for nearly 2000 years.

Cafeteria Catholics who believe the church can change God's Laws about contraception or homosexual actions unfortunately do not fully understand the Catholic Church. They need to carefully review the 1994 Catechism of the Catholic Church. At the election of Pope Benedict XVI, some have claimed they will "leave the church." This is sad. However, this is their unfortunate decision. It is their choice to walk away from God's Laws; to say NO to God. It is hoped that they will have a change of heart and accept God's Laws. If they do not, they will eventually have to answer to God. We must pray for them. As the priest quoted in his homily: "The cafeteria is now closed."

Thank God for the election of Pope Benedict XVI! He will have gigantic shoes to fill. But it is wonderful that someone who is known for keeping the Catholic faith pure will be our new shephard.

Planned Parenthood Pastor to Speak at University at Albany Tonight (4/20) - Join the PEACEFUL Protest

Pro-lifers will be PEACEFULLY handing out literature around the University's Campus Center Building. You are welcome to PEACEFULLY protest this speaker by handing out literature which will be available from local pro-lifers. If you cannot make it, please pray for them and pray for the audience listening to this individual. Pray for the individual that his heart and mind will be turned. Pray that if there are pro-lifers in the audience, they will have the courage to raise questions that might get both the speaker and others thinking.

Father Pavone Reacts to Dean Wanting to "use" Terri Schiavo

According to Life News, Howard Dean, leader of the Democratic Party, has said the Democrats plan to "use" Terri Schiavo in the 2006 and 2008 elections. This is quite interesting. During that horrible evil tragedy, some insisted that conservatives were using Terri Schiavo for political gain (I do not believe that they were - of course, the Culture of Death does not believe in any value of life so it's no wonder they would reduce this to mere political posturing). Now it appears liberals want to use this evil situation for their own gain.

Looking at the quote from Life News, one must question what Howard Dean means by "our own high powers"? Does he mean each person? Well, Terri Schiavo left NO written directives about her condition. Michael Schiavo (a man who had two children with another woman while married to Terri) and HIS side of the family claims she said something. Mysteriously, none of her own family heard her say anything similar. Michael Schiavo said something interesting on CNN (see transcript) about these alleged wishes by Terri.

(Let me make it clear that I do NOT believe in a right to die. But I find it especially troubling when people talk about a "right to die" when there is NO evidence that the person being forced to die even wanted that.)

Or does Howard Dean refer to the judges? The judges who sentenced Terri Schiavo to a death by dehydration and starvation based on HEARSAY. Judges like Greer who allowed Michael Schiavo to deny Terri Holy Communion (as a Catholic, she was allowed DAILY Communion yet Michael Schiavo was empowered by Greer to DENY HER RELIGIOUS RIGHTS WHICH ARE PROVIDED BY THE FIRST AMENDMENT IN MY OPINION)?

Or, is Howard Dean meaning we should make gods of ourselves? Which is it?

Before I say what I am about to say, I would like to make it clear that I am presently a registered Republican. I may be "jumping ship" fairly soon based on the poor performance of all Republicans in this matter except perhaps for FL State Senator Webster and Congressman DeLay. I would add that while there are a small contingent of Democrats who voted in favor of keeping Terri Schiavo alive, and while Senator Tom Harkin is working on legislation, the Republicans leave a lot to be desired in this matter. In my opinion, the Republicans who controlled Congress failed to take a strong enough position in this matter. They allowed greer to defy them. A Congressional subpoena was issued and greer ignored said subpoena. Congress did NOTHING. At first, Frist and DeLay made some huffy statements. After that, they backed down. President Bush and Jeb Bush failed to do anything. It seems during the Clinton "administration," Janet Reno was able to send troops in to 'rescue' Elian Gonzalez and send him back to Cuba. This was AGAINST a ruling by the Florida Supreme Court. President Clinton's henchwoman violated states' rights in her action and there were no sanctions. President Bush could have saved Terri Schiavo's life but failed to do so. It is embarassing to be a Republican. In my opinion, the party gives lip service to pro-life values.

Of course, GREER is a Republican. If that alone is not enough to bolt the Republican party, I don't know what is.

The loss of Pope John Paul the Great is very surreal. I still cannot believe it has happened. We must remember all the wonderful things he has done. We must hope he is watching over us right now.

We must also pray to the Holy Spirit for the Conclave. Pray that the Holy Spirit exerts maximum influence over the College of Cardinals to choose the best man as the next Pope. Hopefully, whomever is elected the next Pope will continue and build upon Pope John Paul the Great's positions.

My own wish is that Cardinal Francis Arinze will be elected the next Pope. He has similar views as Pope John Paul the Great and has had past experience with interreligious dialogue. He hails from Nigeria. He would not be the first Pope from Africa. But with Catholicism growing in Africa (as well as Latin America) at a rapid pace, it would be a welcome sign for the new Holy Father to come from that area.

While we all must die at some point and hopefully go home to our Father, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, with the evil facing the world today, I wish Pope John Paul II would be able to provide his usual inspirational leadership to help us navigate these treacherous waters. Please pray for him. He will soon be welcomed by our Most Blessed Mother, the Ever-Virgin Immaculate Mary, to whom Pope John Paul showed great devotion. Please pray that God will limit his suffering.

Please also pray to the Holy Spirit to have the greatest possible influence the conclave when they eventually meet to choose the successor to our Holy Father, Pope John Paul II. The Pope wields strong influence on the world stage. The spotlight given to a new Pope will allow him to articulate his ideas and views to the entire planet. At a time when morality is under attack and moral relativism rules society, we need someone with a strong moral compass who will guide us on our pilgrimage on this earth.

Terri Schiavo has died today. She is with God. She is in a place where she can never be tortured. She is in a place where she will never feel upset or sad. She is in a place where she will never feel pain or fear.

At this point, we must pray for her family and supporters. They put up a valiant fight. They have been subjected to the kind of misery which no family should ever go through. Make no mistake: Terri's death was by court order and nothing else. Had God decided that her time to enter eternity was at hand, she would have died even WITH the feeding tube in place. It is not for human beings to cause or hasten death under any circumstances.

We must pray for those who caused Terri to die as well as those who agree with what was done. Like Terri, like all of us, they are children of God, created in God's Holy Image. We must pray for them to have a conversion of heart and to find the peace that only our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, can bring. We must pray that they will ALL convert and dedicate their lives to doing good (good according to God's Holy Laws, not what society calls "good"). Most of all, we must forgive them. Remember the Our Father prayer, given to us by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ: "...And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us" (emphasis mine). With those words, we are asking God to base our own salvation on the way we forgive others.

The devil has NOT won this battle. Terri is with God. We should NOT allow the devil to win under any circumstances. While we must fight the Culture of Death in every place that it rears its ugly head (abortion, euthanasia, assisted suicide, contraception, embryonic stem cell research, human cloning, etc.), we must do so while strictly abiding by God's Ten Commandments. Anything less delights the devil. We must also remind the devil of his future: being crushed under the heel of our Most Blessed Mother, the Immaculate and Ever Virgin Mary. The devil WILL ultimately lose the war. NEVER let the devil win any battles along the way.

While most of us have never met Terri in person or talked to her, we must never forget her. While a court ordered her demise, her memory must live on. We must work to convert hearts and minds to minimize this from happening to others. We must urge our elected representatives to work to change the laws that allowed this to happen. We must urge our elected representatives to impose checks and balances on the judiciary beyond the few that currently exist.

Through Terri's nearly twelve days of court-ordered dehydration and starvation, we have learned that this happens to disabled people all the time. We have learned about viewpoints. We have seen how some bioethicists feel about this issue. We have seen how people react to certain wording on polls. We have heard how some feel this is "compassionate." For some reason, we were not allowed to see photographs of the alleged "compassionate" process of starvation and dehydration in Terri's case. (The reason given was "privacy." But the very individual who talked about privacy also discussed Terri's medical details with the press.) In Terri's memory, we must work to urge greater respect for the value of human life, especially the most vulnerable. As Jesus said, "Whatsoever you do, to the least of my people, that you do unto Me." The most vulnerable in our society are clearly the least of our Lord's people. Denying them food and water is denying Almighty God food and water.

This situation has implications for everyone alive today or in the future. Forgiveness is mandatory. While the motivation should never be ill will, there are many allegations in this case. Terri was never able to personally articulate her wishes. The alligations will likely never be argued in court or before Congress (despite Congressional subpoenas). However, they should certainly be discussed in the blogosphere and hopefully in the major media. In some cases, media information about this case is available online. Laws should be researched. Ideas should be hashed out. Remember what the blogs did when some documents surfaced containing allegations about President Bush's military service. That previous statement only means to discuss the capabilities of blogs. It does NOT mean to imply that any of the allegations in Terri Schiavo's tragedy are true or even provable. They should simply be discussed and hashed out for years to come. We also need to figure out specific reasons for the Schindlers' loss in order to help anyone else facing a similar situation in the future.

Terri, please watch over all of us. You will be missed. May God bless all of us, but most especially the Schindler family and Terri's close friends.

In what are possibly Terri's last hours on this earth, according to Brother Paul O'Donnell (appearing on Fox News earlier), her family is being denied access to her. There is a specific schedule and the family is asking for an exception now that Terri's life is possily nearing its end. But her "loving" and caring "husband" is denying them. Just as he has denied Terri DAILY Holy Communion as her RIGHT as a Catholic. (In my opinion, this is a violation of the First Amendment of the Constitution.)

Please pray to Blessed Theresa of Calcutta (Mother Theresa 1910-1997) for her intercession with another Theresa - Terri Schiavo. One miracle has already been attributed to the intercession of Blessed Theresa of Calcutta. She miraculously cured a woman with cancer (who was not even Christian). I've been told that if one more miracle can be attributed to the intercession of Blessed Theresa of Calcutta, after proper investigation, she can be canonized. Pray for a total miracle and healing of Terri Schiavo so that she can live and does not even NEED a feeding tube to eat or drink. Please pray to Blessed Theresa of Calcutta for her intercession.

Let's also note that Terri is apparently being denied her religious right to daily Holy Communion. A Catholic in a state of grace may receive Communion daily. Terri's husband refuses to allow this. Every Communion is important. In my opinion, this is in violation of the First Amendment of the Constitution. If Michael Schiavo is going to prevent Terri from something such as Holy Communion, he must have a basis in REAL LAW (not what is IN MY OPINION law created by local probate judge Greer). We should all demand, via blogs, that Terri receive Holy Communion daily.

I'm curious about why Michael Schiavo and George Felos ban all photographs, video cameras, and tape recorders from the room? According to the Schindlers, they are searched before going to visit their daughter daughter, who is starving and dehydrated thanks to a court order. If the reason for the ban on these things is "privacy" then why does Felos discuss Terri's medical details at all in the media?

Let's also remember that Bobby Schindler is rightfully asking for DAILY Communion for Terri. As a Catholic, she has that right. If Michael is denying this request, he MUST be able to back it up in law. Demand Daily Communion for Terri

Terri Schiavo is a Catholic. A Catholic may receive Holy Communion once per day. While Terri cannot receive a fleck of the Precious Body of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ becase her tongue is dry, she may still receive His Most Precious Blood. Allegedly, Michael Schiavo is refusing. This is a violation of her religious rights in my opinion. Terri should receive Holy Communion daily. If her husband truly "cares" for her as he claims, he should allow this. WHY has he not (if it's true that he has not)?

Florida is NOT safe in my opinion

If we are to believe Jeb Bush, he has no power to save one of the state's citizens from a court-ordered sentence of dehydration and starvation. Governor Bush says he cannot get around a court order. Governor Bush has the ability to grant clemency to a convicted criminal, going around a court-ordered death penalty.

Jeb Bush says he has no power to intervene in a case where there is SERIOUS dispute about Terri's alleged "wishes." Let's examine the fundamental dispute: Terri's husband (who has a live-in girlfriend along with children by said live-in girlfriend) claims she said she expressed her wishes about these things. Some of MICHAEL Schiavo's relatives claim that Terri told THEM her "wishes." Felos claims Terri was specific enough to mention "No tubes for me." Mysteriously, Terri never told HER side of the family about these wishes.

If we are to believe Jeb Bush, in my opinion, this is basically saying he is a PUPPET of Greer and other judges.

In my opinion, the Judicial Branch is now SUPERIOR to the Executive Branch. The police are part of the Executive Branch. Yet, Greer (who is part of the Judicial Branch) can order the police to do his bidding. He has ordered that anyone trying to give water to a dying woman (dying for NO reason whatsoever, except a court order) is arrested. Because the police have chosen to do Greer's bidding, CHILDREN have been arrested.

Therefore, in my opinion, Florida is NOT safe. I personally will try to tell anyone I know who plans a vacation or plans to move to Florida that they should think twice. If they ever become disabled...

Question About Reversal of Denial of Holy Communion for Terri

On the evening of Holy Saturday, the Franciscan Brother speaking for the Schindlers begged Michael Schiavo to allow Terri one fleck of the Precious Body of Christ and one small drop of His Most Precious Blood. Originally, that request was denied. At some point on Easter Sunday, that denial was reversed. I think the question begs asking: why the reversal? It's certainly possible Michael Schiavo just had a change of heart. But in my OPINION, it's also possible Felos suddenly realized such a denial might create the opportunity for either President Bush or Governor Bush to intervene on denial of religious rights (First Amendment of U.S. Constitution). In any event, the question begs asking. If Michael had her rights in mind all along, I can't understand why there was a denial in the first place.

Also, note that the priest who administered the Sacrament said her tongue was dry (thus, she could only receive the Precious Blood) according to this article. Compare that statement to Felos' statement about her alleged condition on Holy Saturday (Felos claims she was "beautiful" and "peaceful").

Let's remember that the priest is independent of the Schindlers and the protestors. The priest works inside of hospice. And the priest said Terri's tongue is dry.

Jeb Bush Had An Opportunity Today, in my opinion

This is just my opinion. Last night, the Franciscan Brother spoke for the Schindler family and pleaded with Michael Schiavo to allow Terri one small piece of the Precious Body of Jesus Christ, and one small drop of His Precious Blood. LAST NIGHT, that request was denied.

Earlier tonight, it was revealed in a news article that Terri Schiavo was given one drop of the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ by a Catholic priest in the hospice. The priest could not provide her with a fleck of the Precious Body of Jesus Christ because her tongue was dry according to this article. (Remember, on Holy Saturday Felos said she was "peaceful" and "beautiful." Having a dry tongue is neither peaceful nor beautiful in my opinion.)

We do not know the motivations behind the reason why Michael Schiavo's original denial was reversed. It could be said he was being nice. We should praise God no matter what the reason. It is my OPINION (and just an opinion on my part, I have no knowledge) that Felos suddenly realized that denying Terri Schiavo Holy Communion on Easter Sunday would be a violation of her religious rights, causing the opportunity for either President Bush or Governor Bush to intervene. Thus, the reversal of the denial (again, only MY OPINION).

There were less than twenty-four hours between the original denial and the reversal of said denial. THAT was time for Governor Bush to act. Yes, I understand this was Easter Sunday. However, being governor is a 24/7 job. An innocent woman is dying via court order. Governor Bush failed to act immediately after the opportunity arose, in my opinion.

Priest Said Terri's Tongue is Dry

However, I must also point out that it's possible (MY OPINION ONLY) that Felos advised Michael to allow this for one reason - to eliminate the charge of denying Terri's religious rights. The priest who administered the Sacrament indicated that he could not provide her with a fleck of the Precious Body of Christ because her tongue was dry. Hmm, I recall that on Holy Saturday (yesterday) Felos came out to a press conference saying Terri was "peaceful" and "beautiful." If one's tongue is dried out, that is NOT beautiful and peaceful.

Let Terri's Memory Live On

On March 18th, LifeNews, The Empire Journal and WorldNetDaily ran stories about Terri trying to say she wanted to live. Although Greer and the Florida supreme court denied motions related to this, we should make sure her memory CONSTANTLY lives on in the blogosphere. She is alleged to have said she wants to live. We cannot do that for her, but we can make sure her memory lives.

Thanks to the courts and, IN MY OPINION, the failure of Jeb Bush to act to enforce the Florida State Constitution, Terri has passed the point of no return. In my opinion, Jeb Bush could have done something and announced that he reports to a Higher Power than those wearing black robes. Compare that to former Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, Roy Moore. Roy Moore DID stand up for God. Yes, he was pushed out of office for standing up for God. But does his being ousted really matter in the end? Roy Moore stared down evil in the spiritual war and did a most heroic thing. He chose not to blink. I believe Jesus said something along the lines of "They will hate you for standing up for Me."

(Speaking of Roy Moore, it's funny that a Federal court ordered him to remove the Ten Commandments in what was OBVIOUSLY a states' rights issue. Yet those who argue in favor (my opinion) of starvation and dehydration for Terri claim "states' rights" as an excuse to allow the status quo. Sadly, they have won both battles.)

Blogs For Terri and the Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation will be working together to fight euthanasia and the Culture of Death. Euthanasia has been festering for a time but satan has reared his ugly head and opened a large new front in his goal to consume souls. Evidently, satan has not had enough with destroying souls via abortion. While abortion continues, euthanasia is a whole new front in satan's spiritual war to consume souls. The pro-life movement will have to concentrate its efforts to continue to change hearts and minds on abortion but ALSO on euthanasia, a far more insidious situation.

Upon Terri's death her body is to be cremated and interred in Pennsylvania, in Michael Schiavo's family's plot. Once Terri's soul leaves this earth, she should not fade away from the blogosphere.

It is important NEVER to forget Terri. The issues and concerns about this case should continue to be talked about. The implications of this case for the disabled, the elderly, or the unwanted should be discussed continually. Some of the guests on Fox News indicate that this type of thing happens quite frequently. Death by starvation and dehydration should never happen. It is appalling that this is allowed in the United States of America. People need to be educated about what happens. The Schindlers have exhausted all legal avenues. Governor Bush is obviously not going to provide help. The United States Congress has been buffaloed by a local judge. (I would think that Congress might TRY to hold on to their subpoena power. In my opinion, Greer, a local judge, basically said "boo" to the CONGRESS OF THE UNITED STATES and they went scampering away. No, there will likely be nothing new in the media once she has been interred in Michael Schiavo's family plot. Cop ALLEGEDLY Bragged About Blocking President

According to Spirit Daily, a cop allegedly bragged about stopping President Bush and Governor Bush from taking Terri into protective custody. I wonder if this is one of the officers who ARRESTED CHILDREN based on Greer's order to deny anyone from giving Terri Schiavo a drop of water?

So, while a woman lays dying inside from court ordered starvation and dehydration, a police officer allegedly brags about preventing the President and Governor from saving her. IF true, this is really disgusting.

This article talks about there being a potential standoff between state and local police had Jeb Bush intervened. (Greer allegedly issued an order to ALL sheriffs departments to prevent a state agency from doing its job. It's nice to know that all sheriffs departments, part of the Executive Branch, report to Greer, part of the Judicial Branch.) I don't see why the state police could not have arrested any local police interfering with the state doing its job.

What a Sad Easter

In NO way should this be considered a comparison. Jesus Christ was without sin. He was conceived by the Power of The Holy Spirit born of the Immaculate and Blessed Ever Virgin Mary. He is the Word Made Flesh. Terri Schiavo is obviously not Jesus. Like all of us, she has the stain of original sin. And like all of us, I'm sure she has committed at least venial sin. However, there is a very sad irony. It is very possible that on Easter Sunday, the day our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ rose from the dead, Terri Schiavo will die. Christians traditionally would celebrate on this day. Our Lord and Savior conquered sin and death. By 2pm ET, Terri Schiavo will begin her ninth day of court-ordered starvation and dehydration.

While our Lord's conquering of sin and death and opening the gates of Heaven allowing the opportunity but NOT a guarantee for each of us to one day be in Heaven (if we follow the Ten Commandments and do not die in a state or mortal sin) is wonderful, this Easter will have a very dark cloud hanging over it. We cannot imagine the grief of the Schindler family. The rollercoaster ride of emotions will likely take a toll. The hopes they had when Congress subpoened Terri Schiavo (until a local judge defied Congress and Congress scampered away like a puppy afraid of its shadow in my opinion). The hopes they had when Congress passed legislation ordering a de novo review of Terri Schiavo's case at the Federal level. All of them dashed by what some call "the rule of law." In my opinion, that "rule of law" seems to forget about the First, Eighth, and Fourteenth Amendments of the United States Constitution.

Terri Denied Holy Communion

The family implored Michael Schiavo to allow Terri Holy Communion on this night after sundown, which is Easter in the Catholic Church. Felos had a press conference earlier today. Felos (MICHAEL SCHAIVO's attorney) claims Terri is "beautiful" and "peaceful." This contrasts greatly with the an article in LifeNews (warning: the LifeNews article has EXPLICIT descriptions).

We do not know what Terri really looks like as Michael Schaivo has forbidden any pictures or video to be taken in five years. I assume he has been backed by court orders on this (similar to the court order to deny administering food and water orally - resulting in CHILDREN being arrested by local police in Florida!).

Bobby Schindler pointed out a few minutes ago in a Schindler Family press conference that Michael has forbidden cameras. Why has Michael done this? IF Felos' claims are correct, then he should bring the media in to see Terri. IF Felos is correct, that would HELP Michael's case. If we are to believe Felos, why will he not allow the media in? I understand the hospice room is probably small. So, select a small number of media, representing the liberal and conservative wings.

Because Michael Schaivo refuses to allow the media into the hospice room, my OPINION is that it is difficult to swallow claims that Terri is "peaceful" or "beautiful" after EIGHT DAYS of being denied nutrition and hydration.

But here in the United States of America, we also have a judge who has ordered that water may not be brought to Terri Schiavo. Here in the United States of America, we have police (members of the Executive Branch) honoring that judge's (a member of the Judicial branch - who took a campaign contribution from the lawyer who argued for the starvation and dehydration to take place) order and ARRESTING anyone, including CHILDREN, who try to bring water to Terri Schiavo. One would expect to read about this kind of behavior in any regime controlled by a dictator in Central America, South America, Africa, or Asia. Computers Could Replace Judges

The courts listen to HEARSAY by Michael Schiavo, a man who has had children by another woman while married to Terri (and let's make it clear that even if they were legally divorced, they would be married in the eyes of God literally until one is deceased, unless there was an annulment by the Catholic Church) about Terri Schiavo's alleged wishes.

Felos, Michael's attorney, calls this a "private matter" when questioned about it by Greta Van Susteren a few days ago. If Felos is willing to go on national television to press his client's side of the case, then he should be willing to talk about everything in my opinion. Indeed, in most circumstances, this would be a private matter. But NOT when one has had children by another woman while going to court to make the woman TO WHOM HE IS MARRIED die a death of starvation and dehydration. Felos, MICHAEL Schiavo's lawyer, was just on Greta Van Susteren on Fox News a few minutes ago. When Greta commented about the fact that Michael has a live-in girlfriend and children by that woman while MARRIED to Terri, Felos said this situation is a "private matter." If so, then why has Michael been on even one television show talking about it?

Terri's Father Says Visitors are Searched, Watched When Visiting Terri

And what is even worse is that this is all optional. It is really sad that this Congresswoman feels Congressional action giving a woman who is suffering through a painful period of starvation and dehydration a POSSIBLE chance is a "loss" for the American people. (Of course, in her defense, I'm sure she simply fails to believe Terri has any ability to feel anything. Of course, some who are pro-abortion insist babies feel nothing when they are suctioned out, when their limbs are torn off, when they are burned in a saline abortion, etc.) Congresswoman Wasserman-Schultz said on the House floor that there is "factual evidence" that Terri would not want to be kept alive. Her idea of "factual evidence" consists only of alleged verbal statements to a few individuals, most particularly Terri's husband, Michael Schiavo (a man who has had children by another woman while married to Terri). Personally, my idea of "factual evidence" consists of nothing less than a WRITTEN statement. It really does not cause any problems for anyone to keep Terri alive. There are some who doubt she made the statements she is alleged to have made. I fail to see why keeping Terri alive is such a problem for certain people.

Those opposed to Congressional action giving Terri another chance of life complained about Constitutional issues. Last night, someone called in to CSPAN and pointed out that the FIRST AMENDMENT provides the ability of people to "petition the Government for a redress of grievances." Those who oppose Congressional intervention on "Constitutional grounds" perhaps might want to brush up on the First Amendment?

It is also quite sad that some of the Congresspeople argued about processes while a woman is dying a slow and horrendously painful death based on HEARSAY by a man who has had children by another woman while married to Terri. Extraordinary situations like these require extraordinary peaceful actions such as intervention by Congress.

Those who opposed Congressional action giving Terri another chance of life, who in my opinion show that they have no problem seeing a woman suffering and dying based on HEARSAY argued that Congress should not get involved in family matters. First, the FAMILY disagrees. One side wants to keep Terri alive and avoid having her suffer a horrible, painful death. Another side, which includes a man who has had children by another woman while married to Terri, wants her to die slowly through starvation and dehydration. Looking at (warning, this is explicit content) this entry from Citizens United Resisting Euthanasia, this is what Terri may experience if her feeding the remains out for very long.

Furthermore, I wonder if those who argue about "family privacy" are this concerned when it comes to so-called "sex education" in schools? Clearly one would hope they might be consistent. Schools should not be introducing students to artificial contraception, which only makes it easier to commit sexual immorality.

Those opposed to Congressional action stopping this horrendously painful procedure because of HEARSAY say the courts in FL have the final say. They argue "states' rights." Yes, a court where a state judge IGNORED a Congressional subpoena. The FL Supreme Court tossed out a law the FL Legislature put forth to help Terri. A court where Judge Greer ruled that the parents cannot provide food orally to Terri once the feeding tube was mercilessly removed (if she did not swallow, this would only help MICHAEL'S case!). A court where the judge has not even personally visited Terri Schiavo.

As to "states' rights," these were used to justify SLAVERY in the past. Would those who talk about "states' rights" want to apply that to abortion? Afterall, if Federal legislation was signed into law giving states the rights to CHOICE in whether or not to allow abortion, some might make a CHOICE to ban abortion. Sadly, I have no hopes for consistency on their part. Yes, if such legislation was passed, I'm sure the courts would nullify it. But there is nothing wrong with taking a CONSISTENT position, regardless of what the courts will do.

Those who argued in favor of NO action by Congress, allowing the status quo, allowing a woman to suffer and die needlessly because of HEARSAY, complained that this was a bill designed for just one person rather than a broad bill. As Congressman Sensenbrenner eloquently stated, this bill for one person was due only to the fact that some Senators forced it to be that way. The original bill was INTENDED to be a broad-based bill which was not aimed at any specific individual.

Some of those who argued in favor of NO Congressional action to save this woman's life talked about costs. If they are truly concerned about costs, I would hope they might give up their annual raise. If they are truly concerned about costs, I would hope they might choose to vote against any pork barrel spending, even that which benefits their own districts. If they are truly concerned about costs, I would hope they might argue against government waste on contraception, abortion, etc.

Another excuse given was "we are not doctors" or "even if we are doctors, we haven't examined Terri personally." Well, DOCTOR David Weldon, a Congressman, tried to visit Terri Schiavo. He was not allowed to do this. I don't understand. If Terri is in a "persisten vegetative state," letting a Congressman visit her would have HELPED Michael Schiavo's case. It may have ENDED the case for her parents and siblings. But for some strange reason, Congressman and DOCTOR David Weldon was DENIED access according to his statements last night on the House floor.

In any event, here is the list of those who voted for, against, or did not vote at all. Let's note that while more Democrats voted AGAINST the bill than voted for it, the number who voted for it NEARLY equaled the number who voted against. But remember, five Republicans also voted against the bill. Blogs for Terri will be creating a Wall of Shame listing all of the names of those who voted against this bill.

Regardless of what happens with this case in Federal court, we should continue to ask Congress to ENFORCE the subpoenas. Congress NEEDS to consider broad legislation to help others in this situation. Terri and Michael Schiavo, along with Terri's family, Greer, and Felos need to come before Congress to be questioned in my opinion. They will provide valuable insight to the crafting of broad legislation. Furthermore, the subpoenas have already been issued. They need to be ENFORCED.

Thank God, the President has signed this bill!

Now, we must push for the subpoenas to be enforced! That should NOT go by the wayside. Terri Schiavo NEEDS to be brought before Congress in order to testify by her very presence. Someone should place food in her mouth and see if she swallows since Greer wouldn't allow this after the feeding tube was removed. We need to see her on CSPAN and see if she is truly in a "persistent vegetative state" as her husband (who has had children by another woman while married to Terri) claims. Michael needs to appear before Congress so he can be asked about his actions. By then, he will likely be coached not to make the kind of slip he allegedly made on CNN. George Felos and Greer need to also testify and explain their actions.

Continue to push for Congress to enforce these subpoenas! Senate Majority Leader Frist is threatening jail time for Greer. In my opinion, this should be pursued.

Why Was Congressman Weldon Denied Access to Terri Schiavo?

First the media was denied access to Terri. Now Congressman Weldon (according to his statement a few minutes ago). Why? If Terri is truly in a "persistent vegetative state" as is claimed by her husband (who had children with another woman while married to her) and his lawyer, why were the media and Rep Weldon denied access? If either the media or Rep Weldon were given access, they would be able to see for their own eyes whether or not she is in a "PVS." Since Michael has said she is in a "PVS," granting them access would only HELP Michael Schiavo's case in such circumstances...

Tom Harkin is a Democrat who said in a conference last night that he never thought about these issues before. Tom Harkin is for helping Terri. Where are some of the Democratic House members?

States Rights Used to Support Slavery

Some of those Representatives in the House of Congress who are for allowing Michael Schiavo to order the removal of a feeding tube based on HEARSAY argue STATES RIGHTS. The two DEMOCRATIC Presidents prior to Abraham Lincoln were "personally opposed" to slavery but felt there were legal issues. They basically did this on a states rights platform. Democrats Franklin Pierce and James Buchanan were "personally opposed" to slavery but did not want to impose their views. They did not feel the Federal government could end slavery. They allowed an ATROCITY to continue because of this view. REPUBLICAN Abraham Lincoln followed President Buchanan. President Lincoln is one of our greatest Presidents. In my opinion, I do not see much difference between the politicians today who oppose saving the life of Terri Schiavo and the failed (my opinion) Democratic Presidencies of Franklin Pierce and James Buchanan in the 1850s.

Would We Execute Convicted Criminals This Way?

Let me make it clear that as a pro-lifer, I oppose the death penalty as much as I oppose abortion, euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research, artificial contraception, and ALL forms of sexual immorality. However, if the court imposed death sentence for Terri is such a "peaceful" way to die, why does society prevent its use for criminals who are executed? Could it be that if such a method was used, criminal rights groups would rightfully be up in arms about it? (Sadly, I notice they are strangely SILENT about Terri Schiavo's execution. Evidently, convicted criminals have more rights than Terri Schiavo.) But really, for those who have no problem with Terri being killed in this manner, explain why it is not used for convicted criminals.

Visitors Allowed in Again

According to Terri Schiavo's brother who recently appeared on Fox News, visitors are now allowed back in to see Terri. But I still have to question the interruption. Why was Michael allowed to deny any visitors at any time? How is this in Terri's "best interest"? How does this demonstrate any care or concern for Terri? Is it not enough that Greer has allowed her to die via starvation and dehydration, which in my opinion, VIOLATES THE 8TH AMENDMENT? This interruption, however brief, should never have been allowed. There should be appropriate sanction against Michael for doing this in my opinion. Even if Terri does not survive long enough to be brought before Congress (since she is now in day #3 of a slow, painful court ordered death sentence in my opinion), I sincerely hope Congress asks Michael about this.

Terri's Wishes Allegedly "Factually proven"?

According to a clip on Fox News, Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz claims it "has been factually proven" that Terri said the very same thing. Really? How? Because her husband and HIS family CLAIM this was said? Congresswoman, this is NOT the definition of "factually proven." This is HEARSAY.

And let's remember that this HEARSAY was given by a husband who has had children by another woman. A husband who recently denied all visitors to his wife while she is dying a slow and painful death.

If this becomes a precedent, ANYONE can "remember" some alleged "wishes." They may stand to gain an inheritence. They may stand to gain something else. In a court of law, EVIDENCE is supposed to be required. Not just HEARSAY.

There are Republicans who are in favor of legalized abortion (Arnold Schwarzenigger, Condoleeza Rice, Rudy Giuliani, Arlen Spector, etc.) and there are Democrats who are pro-life. However, the Democratic Party has been referred to by some as the "abortion party" or "anti-life," etc. Those Democrats who are trying to stop this bill to save Terri Schiavo only HELP to cement this view in people's minds.
